Diamonds that fall under this grade have inclusions (imperfections) that are visible by the human eye. They are valuable, most diamond carriers do not sell this grade of diamond. |

SI1, SI2
(Slightly Included): |
Diamonds that fall under this grade have inclusions (imperfections) that are visible under 10x magnification. The imperfections may be visible without any magnification. Diamonds of this grade carry a good diamond value. |

VS1, VS2
(Very Slightly Included): |
Diamonds that fall under this grade have inclusions (imperfections) that are usually not visible to the unaided eye. |

VVS1, VVS2
(Very,Very, Slightly Included): |
Diamonds that fall under this grade have inclusions (imperfections) that are very difficult to see under 10x magnification. |

IF
(Internally Flawless): |
Diamonds that fall under this grade have no internal flaws. They may have minor external flaws. This is a very rare diamond. |

FL
(Flawless): |
Diamonds that fall under this grade have no internal or external flaws. This is the most valuable and rare diamond available. |
